Polypropylene, polyester, nylon, polyethylene, and specialty fibers are used to make synthetic ropes. These ropes are lighter in weight than metal ropes and far more durable than natural fiber ropes. They have properties such as high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and superior flexibility. A synthetic rope is a collection of synthetic fibers that have been twisted or braided together to form a larger and stronger structure. Polypropylene, polyester, nylon, polyethylene, and specialty fibers are used to make synthetic ropes.   Synthetic ropes are used in the marine and fishing industries due to their lightweight, reduced knocking up and making downtime, ease of handling, floating properties, and lack of re-lubrication. Polypropylene ropes have many advantages, including excellent insulation capacity, floatability on water, resistance in chemically active environments, and zero absorption. They can also withstand high temperatures of up to 80°C and come in a variety...
