Preventing infection is the primary reason for developing disposable devices

Disposable medical supplies are medical apparatuses, devices, or consumables designed for one-time or temporary use in medical settings. These supplies are essential in hospital settings because they save staff time and lower healthcare-related costs.

During surgeries and check-ups, latex medical disposables such as latex gloves are used. As a result, there is a high demand for latex medical disposables among doctors, surgeons, and dentists all over the world. There are two types of latex gloves available: powdered latex gloves and non-powdered latex gloves. Non-powdered gloves may be in higher demand than powdered gloves, as powdered gloves have been found to interfere with patients' healing processes.

Medical gloves are classified into three types: latex, vinyl, and nitrile. Latex is a natural material made from rubber. Latex is primarily used in medical procedures. Latex gloves protect the hands and wrists from a variety of chemicals, including detergents, alcohols, biohazards such as viruses and bacteria, bodily fluids, abrasive materials, and others.

A disposable device is any medical apparatus that is intended to be used only once or for a limited time. The main purpose of creating disposable devices is to prevent the spread of disease. Whenever the item is only used once, infectious agents cannot be passed on to resulting patients.

According to one study, natural latex gloves provide excellent barrier protection. The use of powder-free latex resulted in fewer allergic reactions among healthcare workers. Nitrile is more puncture-resistant and resistant to a wide range of chemicals. Consumable, expendable, disposable, or non-durable surgical items used for the treatment or diagnosis of a patient's specific illness, injury, or condition.   The reason for the use of medical disposables by nurses and other healthcare providers is that they frequently come into contact with bodily fluids in unexpected situations. It's impossible to predict when they'll do so and when they won't. Wearing gloves reduces the risk of individuals being exposed to bacteria or viruses that can be transmitted through touch.
